doG suckers work in sick ways.
Dear reader, this post is a test of whether I am able to reach THOCBDC in Seattle from my spot in Bangkok.
OK, two food shots from dinner. Yes, they were both delicious.
This is the way to sell cars ... forget clunker crap ... use pretties and presenters.
This is a short primer on Thai parking procedures as illustrated by our neighbor the Ruam Rudee Shopping Mall. In a city of 12 million people and 12 million cars juggling parking spaces seems to be the only answer to sane parking. In a country that abhors parallel parking many times a compromise must be made. When all of the pull-in back-out (or back-in pull-out) spaces are taken cars are allowed to parallel park in the area immediately behind the conventional parkers. So, you ask, how do the conventional cars get out when they want to leave? Ahh ... easy. Thai custom dictates that the parallel blockers must leave their cars in NEUTRAL and allow enough room fore and aft so that their vehicles can be rolled out of the way when one of the blockees needs to leave.
Six oysters from France ... another six from Sydney. Witch's, of course.
The last PS ever:
I can't upload from my Mac today. So here is a random PC load from the past.
PS: my Mac is working again....
OK, this book is so brilliant. It is the #1 best seller in Thailand (Non-fiction).
David sends a mixed bag from Rio.
PS: David corrected me. The slim girls are from Rio while the heavy girls are from Chicago. The Olympic Committee said this disparity was the tipping point.
Watcharee's father's oldest brother visited us along with his wife, sons (and their wives and children) (*). In typical Thai fashion the shoes must remain at the door.
This morning's Bangkok edition of the IHT carried a photo on its sports page of someone who is a familiar sight in Fort Lauderdale; at least to people who live near Las Olas Boulevard. He 'travels' under the name of "Coatman".
(*) Does anyone recognize any of these people from a long-ago elephant polo trip ... or, a visit to Sarin? Like 8 years ago.
