November 10-15, 2011
Loi Krathong Day is when the Thai people give thanks to the river and the water goddess. This year any thanks would have to be a major stretch.
After lunch Watcharee and I took a drive through our old neighborhood (the area around River Garden).
Our drive through the past takes us near The Oriental, some cache territory, The Sheraton hotel and River City.
A beautiful sunset tonight.
In case we have to flee to some place higher there is a stack of paper life boats next door.
Let's pull the drapes. It's a beautiful day in Bangkok (at least for the inner city).
PS: Maybe it is this door-guard who is keeping us dry.
PPS: Because shit is happening elsewhere.
I don't know whether this was just a good marketing idea or did the publisher also have a sense of public responsibility. Anyway, this magazine came with one of these.
