Scenes taken at night from the Ruan Rudee shopping center, our neighbor.
PS: And, why I am glad that we are not in Florida.
This is the view from the lobby (on the 25th floor) of Bangkok's Okura hotel. The camera was pointed in a range running from south to north from the western side of the building.
Reader Anna Oblast from Simbirsk, a city in Ulyanovsk Oblast, Russia writes: "As the great grand daughter of Lenin I am curious about the construction site in yesterday's selection of photos...the one at the corner of Wireless Road and Ploenchit. Do you have any other pictures of it?"
Yes, Anna, I do. When it is complete it will be the largest and most expensive high-end shopping complex in Bangkok. It will be Central Siam.
One of my Bangkok Geo-caches, "Rocky", has been flooded by a man made sea of mud.
Reader Anthony Scollia writes: "I am the personal masseur to Pope Benedict XVI. Benny and I would like to see how the buffet tables at the Okura hotel are arranged. Is the display oval shaped like at the Rain Tree in the Plaza Athenee hotel?"
Reader Sindra Smith writes "As the excommunicated great grand niece of Joseph Smith Jr. I take pleasure in ALL of this world's delights. Please show me some close-ups of dishes from the the Okura hotel's buffet."
