This is not Bangkok's Wireless* Road.
* In the Thai language it is called Radio Road, which when translated into English under the British system becomes Wireless Road. As in, "please turn on the wireless so we can catch the news".

My friend Dan from Taipei and Shanghai sent me these photos from his recent trip to Shanghai. I first met Dan in Shanghai more than 30 years ago. In the background of the first photo is a brick building. It is Shanghai Mansions. My first Shanghai hotel.
He writes:
Dear Alf,
Jill and I were in Shanghai during Chinese New Year holidays. We went to the bund area and took those pics... You might remember some pleases there...
Best regards!
Dan Shen
Dan continues:
Dear Alf,
New look of the old bund in Shanghai. You will find some restored buildings nearby.
Best regards!
Dan Shen
This site on the other side of Wireless Road is the future home of Ralph Lauren Residences. It will be a very high priced condominium.
